Enjoy it now, as it may not be here for long. -New Video right-click, or ctl-click to download _snizl - Lofi 21.5 MB _snizl - Ipod 24 MB 3.28.06 b- Just added to this Friday's Hootenany at Hangar 1018, Northern California electronic slamdancer, Her Space Holiday. Keep your pants on kids. 3.28.06- For the pure sake of numbing your minds, here's a repost of Computo's first version of his online TR-909. The outdoor acts will be posted in the next day or two. 3.23.06- Nothing to say, but WOW. SXSW XX was easily, one of the best times in recorded history. Simple fact is, the Month of Gluttony (its actually 3 months) got off to a spectacular start. And it was all thanks to the illustrious Jeremy deVine, of Temporary Residence Limited. Ate enough mexican food to feed a small peruvian village... and St Patricks Day invited all types of fun. Computo performed his live remix of Neil Young's "Southern Man" at the Berklee Showcase, then moved on to perform with Caroline at the TRL showcase. To be frank, Jeremy has created one of the most amazing families of musicians in the world, and being a part of that was utterly inspiring. Temporary Residence is an oasis in the abyss of bullshit that is the music industry. And a successful one, at that. Next time YOU go on a trip, and end up staying in a house with one of the biggest rock bands of today (Explosions in the Sky), you'll know what I mean. God. What a whirlwind adventure. The blog will go into deep detail as to the beauty of this endeavor...stay tuned. 3.14.06- Last night in LA before SXSW, getting ready for some righteous fun. Lots of free drinks, cheap food and ladies galore, Austin has been cracked up to be some hot times. We'll bring you blogs, vlogs, plogs and more, in between the craziness and music. Info and recordings will be available on a day to day basis, and if you're in Austin, find me for a free DVD, with exclusive content. See you in the streets! 3.4.06- Dont know if YOU noticed, but the Berklee showcase is going to have FREE BEER for everyone over 21!!! Thats right, folks, if you didnt have an excuse to take the bus to Austin already, you do now. You'll be drinking on the tab of one of the wealthiest schools in the nation; at least now I know what that huge endowment is going to. Nevertheless, SXSW is gonna be nuts, and we all know how FREE BEER helps. And NO! this isn't a scam to pull you poor people in the door, a la Phish, there will really be FREE BEER. Did I forget to mention, FREE BEER? 3.1.06- Computo is counting down the days to the SXSW Festival and Conference. With only 17 days until the Berklee College of Music showcase, Computo has discovered the flyer and artist list for the event. And once again, Computo and the Slip will share a stage. As far back as the summer of 2000, Computo was performing on the same stage as this groundbreaking Avant-Jazz trio, most recently at the 2002 Creekside Jamboree, smack in the center of PA. There are some rare images of the event in the photos section, including one of our tour manager locking the keys in the car! In case you hadnt noticed, The Retard Circus has announced the dates for the month of Gluttony (yes, it's really 3 months but when you're that much of a glutton...). We're moving the month up by 2 weeks, to accommodate SXSW, so get belligerent! 2.17.06- Computo has just been confirmed for the Berklee College of Music showcase at the 2006 SXSW Festival and Conference. The showcase will be on March 17th, from 3-430 pm, at "Friends", an Austin venue located at 208 E. 6th St, Austin, TX. Computo is honored to be included in this Neil Young tribute concert, presented by his alma mater. Later that same night, Computo will be performing with Caroline Lufkin, at the Temporary Residence label showcase, at The Whiskey Bar. More info is coming down the pipes about these gigs, but they are both going to be smashing. Low ceiling people, watch your heads. 2.12.06- Data Age was a rocking success, lots of great artists, ranging through all genres from synth pop, to experimental guitar-based electronica, which I'll blog about later, but for now, check out the recordings, the first live recordings in months. Live @ Dataage - High 34 MB Live @ Dataage - Low 17 MB 2.9.06- Some more developments...First, Computo will be performing at this weeks Data Age, a monthly experimental electronic showcase in LA's Chinatown. The event promises some great talent, including Computo's good friends and colleagues, Emis. Second, Computo will have some news about collaborations on his upcoming album soon. Stay posted for more news. 1.26.06- We told you about the new release that Computo has been working on... Well, today we received a new track, Computo's Lament, which will appear on the upcoming release. Special thanks go out to the Hyperion String Quartet. Computo's Lament - 18 MB 1.16.06- Computo has gone back into the bombshelter, to begin production on a bunch of new projects. Another video is in the works, for which piece, is so far unclear. There is also a pending podcast, of live studio work. But most notably, is Computo's preliminary groundwork for a new full-length release. A corresponding live recording has become a consideration also, as no live recordings have been posted in almost 6 months. Videos, dvds, who knows what else is in the works. But Computo is keeping to the grindstone, and will be bringing a lot in 2006. Keep posted, more to come soon. 1.1.06- The New Year brings new offerings... Computo has delivered the new video for his work, Metronomicon. The work was derived from only 2 samples, the Click and Tuning "A" from a cheap, electronic metronome. The video was generated by the original Midi and audio information from the studio, triggering pixels in a piece of software that Computo designed in Jitter. We've got it in various sizes, and in Ipod format, so you can take it with you. Get it now, before its posted for sale on Itunes... -New Video right-click, or ctl-click to download Metronomicon - High 24 MB Metronomicon - Medium 15 MB Metronomicon - Low 8 MB Metronomicon - Ipod 15 MB 11.29.05- Last minute show announcement...Infinite Complexity is having a special underground show, tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30th, to celebrate the birthday of LA DJ extrodinaire/gambling aficionado, Qrixs. This is going to be a DJ explosion, featuring some of the best experimental electronic DJs in the area. Nohaptimus Prime, DJ Basketball, and of course, Qrixs...plus a secret guest performance. I don't even know who it is...But apparently, someone good. Check out the link, and come on down...its only $2... 11.26.05- A bit more info about the upcoming shows at Hangar 1018 on December 3rd and 15th. The 3rd, is going to feature a host of radical California-based talent. One highlight of the show will surely be Boom-Bip (Warp /lex), a fellow Ohio-native, turned LA rager. Also, a melange of Beck's back-up bandmembers are going to be convening, to present some electro-stylings. As mentioned, Daedelus will be flicking and flying across his bitbox. Of course, Computo will be doing his thing, what ever THAT is. Also, K-Dub will be making the trip south from San Francisco, for a special reunion of The Sons of Liberty. Hopefully, the first of a couple this month. As for the December 15th show, Books on Tape, a fellow Icomplex rocker, has been announced.
